Brave Heart Home operates within Kidz@Peace Ministries Company. Kidz@Peace Ministries is a non-profit organisation for public benefit and is managed by a board of directors. The current directors of the board are:

  • Almaret du Toit, founder and chairperson of the board,
  • Sylvia Qokolwana, also a director from the start of the programme,
  • Gerda de Goede, the financial director
  • AJ Reyneke, a local farmer, property management and maintenance

AJ became involved when the community donated money to buy the house. Gerda joined a few years into the project. While Sylvia is also the senior childcare worker, all other board members do this voluntarily.

The entity is an Article 21 Company. The Company Registration, Public Benefit Organisation and Non-Profit Organisation registration numbers are below:
