Financial assistance

The biggest need that we have at Brave Heart is financial security. We currently receive some funding from a government grant from the Department of Social Development. While this allocation of funds is appreciated, it is considerably insufficient for our needs and only covers a small percentage of our funding requirements. We currently rely on donations to cover this monthly shortfall and urgently require ongoing funding to continue our operations. 

Parents willing to adopt children

The success of our long-term mission relies on sourcing parents who are willing to adopt children who have no families or cannot return to their families. People that are considering adopting can discuss this with our on-site social worker. In this process, they can spend time with the children at Brave Heart and build a relationship with them. Prospective adoptive parents can have the opportunity to adopt in consultation with the Department of Welfare.

Volunteers to spend time with the children

We also always welcome volunteers to come and spend time with the children, play with them.  If someone would like to “adopt” a child by providing for his/her everyday needs at Brave Heart Home, that would be much appreciated.
