How Community Support Makes a Difference

NG Kerk Murray Visits Brave Heart Home

Introduction

At Brave Heart Home, community support is not only appreciated. It is essential.

Every donation, every visit and every act of kindness helps us provide safety, stability and daily care for children in vulnerable circumstances. Behind every meal, every school day and every moment of support, there is a community that chooses to get involved.

A Visit That Made a Real Difference

Recently, we had the privilege of welcoming the NG Kerk Murray Sunday School group from Grade 1 to 3 to Brave Heart Home on Sunday, 15 March 2026.

Before their visit, the group reached out to ask how they could help. In response, we shared a list of essential toiletries needed for the children in our care.

They arrived with open hearts and a generous spirit. The amount of items they brought was truly overwhelming. These contributions directly support the daily needs of the children and help us continue providing a safe and nurturing environment.

More than the items themselves, their willingness to care and be present made a meaningful impact.

Why Community Support Matters

Support like this allows Brave Heart Home to provide daily essentials such as toiletries, food and clothing. It helps us maintain a safe and stable environment and continue offering emotional care and support to every child.

Community involvement makes this work possible. It reminds every child that they are seen, valued and supported.
